- Don’t Smoke. Cigarette smoking can stunt the physical growth certainly because it contains hundreds of toxic elements that impede optimum body processes.
- Not too much sugar. Sugar is also a culprit for the abrupt stoppage of getting taller. Too much sugar in one’s diet interferes with the body’s physiological processes. It malfunctions in storing and utilizing calcium.
You can’t alter your genes but you can modify your diet and overall lifestyle. You can be taller than your parents provided you take in necessary nutrients and avoid culprits that can hinder vertical growth.
